It has been a blessing and an honor to have known Shirley as a good friend.  I have no doubt that she is in heaven with Jesus and I will see her again someday.

On behalf of Cuba Cultural Center, our board, staff, and volunteers, I'd like to send our sincere and heartfelt condolences.  We fondly remember Shirley's time as a volunteer with us, and want to add our appreciation of her love for her family and commitment to the community.  We know that she will be greatly missed.

Our family was deeply saddened to hear the news of our wonderful Aunt Shirley.  She was full of love for all she met. She was a treasure to her extended family and enjoyed being at all our celebrations when she was able.  We will miss her big smile, laughter and encouraging each other in our walk with Jesus. She is now dancing with Jesus.  Prayers to all the family.

Sad to here about this.. She would always make it to our picnics and have a lot of laughs.  We had an unexpected meeting with her in 2016. 3:30am at the airport.  We were sending our daughter on a mission trip, and Shirley was going on a separate mission trip!
